DART is planning to launch a new bus network in summer 2026. This new network will change when and where buses travel, and some riders may no longer be able to use their current bus service to get to work.
Please fill out the Workforce Transportation Needs Survey if the proposed plan would not allow you to use DART to get to work. Your feedback will help us identify where workforce transportation is needed most and explore solutions to meet those needs.
About DART's New Bus Network
The bus network was redesigned based on feedback we received from riders and member communities on what to prioritize with the funding we have. Visit our project website at reimagineDARTdsm.com to view the map and the process we took to finalize the new network.
What Changes to Expect
DART's new bus network will have these features:
- Buses will run on routes more often every day of the week. There will be less routes that run only during peak commute times.
- People will be able to travel farther faster and buses will be more likely to stay on schedule because of spacing bus stops and timing transfers at DART Central Station.
- DART will operate services Mondays - Saturdays from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
