The last day of the 2023-2024 school year for Des Moines Public Schools (DMPS) is May 29, 2024. Extensions to routes and dedicated trips added onto DART schedules to serve students, called "School Tripper" service, will no longer be offered until the next school year. Please check your route's schedule as some routes have times on their timetable indicating they only operate on school days. 

Today's public input meeting on the DART On Demand Fare Increase at DMACC in Ankeny is cancelled due to the threat of severe weather and flooding. Storms could produce high winds, hail, and possible tornadoes this afternoon.

We have rescheduled the public meeting to take place at the same time and in the same location next week:

An update is now available on the Apple App Store that fixes crashes iOS users have experienced using the MyDART app.

A few weeks ago, our mobile app provider released a software patch, which then caused the MyDART app to crash for iPhone users when using the Trip Planner or Next Bus features. To fix the issue, our vendor worked on a major app update for iOS.

We apologize for the challenges this may have caused in the last few weeks.

Route 7 County Line:  Enter mall from SE 5th, Left (E) on Mall Road between Hy Vee and Target, Left (N) exit mall by Hy Vee Gas, back on route.
Outbound Route 6 SE 5th: Enter mall by BANKERS TRUST, Left (E) on Mall Road between Hy Vee and Target, Left (N) exit mall by Hy Vee Gas, back on route.

Outbound:  Broadway (E), Left (N) on NE 17th Ct, to roundabout and BACK, Right D(W) on Broadway, Right (N) on NE 14^th, Right (E) on NE 54^th Ave, Right (S) on NE 22^nd St to Polk County Jail, BACK TO ROUTE.

Inbound:  After servicing Polk County Jail, Left (N) on NE 22^nd St, Left (W) on NE 54^th Ave, Left (S) on NE 14^th St, Left (E) on Broadway, Left (N) on NE 17^th St to the Roundabout and back, Right (W) on Broadway, Back to  Route
