Hy-Vee Shuttle
Update: This shuttle service is ending at 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 12. The Harding Hills Hy-Vee reopens to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
DART and Hy-Vee, Inc. are partnering to provide free transportation from the flood impacted Harding Hills Hy-Vee (3330 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway) to the Hy-Vee store on East Euclid Avenue (2540 E. Euclid Ave) in Des Moines.

Local Route 10 - East University
Service operates between DART Central Station, the Broadlawns Clinic on East University and Pleasant Hill.
Connections: Local Route 4 at East 14th Street; Local Route 17 along University from Pennsylvania Avenue to Easton Boulevard; Local Route 1 along University from E. 30th Street to E. 33rd Street. All Express Routes and the D-Line Shuttle on Grand Avenue and Locust Street in downtown Des Moines. All Local and Crosstown Routes at DART Central Station.

Public art takes to the streets on public transit
Public art is taking to the streets of Greater Des Moines in a new initiative that wraps artists’ one-of-a-kind designs on public transit buses.
The Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation Project Spaces initiative, in partnership with the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART), will unveil the new public art initiative at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014, at The Hub Spot Plaza on The Principal Riverwalk at Court Avenue and Water Street.
$3.6 Million in One-Time MPO Award Helps DART Maintain Services for Two Years
The Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) Policy Committee awarded DART $3.6 million from its Carbon Reduction Program last week. These one-time funds will go to DART’s capital budget, allowing the organization to purchase buses, and provide flexibility to use more federal funds for operating expenses. At today’s DART budget hearing, the DART Commission voted to use the equivalent amount of federal funds to fill a budget gap and to maintain services for two years, while the Commission engages member communities in planning for longer-term stability.
