DART providing free rides to cooling centers due to extreme heat

DART is providing free rides to the public to cooling centers in Polk County on Wednesday, July 17 through Saturday, July 20, 2019.

How to get to the Iowa State Fair

Avoid traffic and the search for parking at the Fair - ride DART instead. Free parking is available at three, convenient locations and buses drop off at Fair entrances.

Platform D closed on Tuesday, July 16 from 9 a.m. - noon

On Tuesday, July 16, DART will temporarily need to close Platform D at DART Central Station for construction. We expect this closure to last from 9 a.m. until about noon.

DART buses will need to detour on Local Route 1 due to construction on E. 38th Street.
