Update 2:30 p.m.:
The snow is falling and roads are wet, but DART buses are on schedule. Anticipating a potential slow down around rush hour for safety and volume of traffic.

A winter storm warning goes into effect at 9 a.m. and continues until 9 p.m. for Central Iowa. Snow accumulation of 4-8" is predicted throughout the area today.
DART buses have left DART Central Station on time for the first runs of the day. As the day progresses, buses may be delayed, given winter weather and road conditions. Staff will publish updates periodically via this article, Twitter and Facebook.
