DART buses have returned to the partially reopened 7th Street in downtown Des Moines today following repair work to a water main break.
The temporary detours have ended and regular routing has been restored for the LINK Shuttle and Routes 1, 3, 4, 11, 14, 15, 17, 51, 52 and 60. Minor schedule delays may be caused by traffic until the full four lanes of 7th Street reopen.
Temporary bus stops have closed. However, some permanent bus stops along 7th Street between Locust and Mulberry streets will remain closed until the far right-hand lane of 7th Street reopens. All routes continue to operate out of DART Central Station, providing riders an alternative to their regular bus stops.
