Beginning Sunday, February 5, 2012, the following changes will be implemented to better serve DART customers.

Please join us to provide input on the service changes for public transportation in the Greater Des Moines area in June and November of 2012, as laid out in the DART Forward 2035 Services Plan. The DART Forward 2035 Transit Services Plan outlines a vision for DART’s future, and we want to hear your feedback.

The January meeting of the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority Board of Commissioners has been rescheduled due to scheduling conflicts. It will now be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1.

DART offices will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25, to observe Thanksgiving. There will be no service on Thanksgiving Day and buses will use weekend service on Friday.

The Tomorrow Plan is a regional planning effort focused on the sustainable development of Greater Des Moines. It will involve residents and local leaders in identifying visions and aspirations for the region, exploring potential scenarios for its future, and setting a preferred direction for sustainable future development.
