Updated Detour: Inbound Routes at 7th Street—Jan. 12 to Jan. 30th, 2026 | DART - Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority

Detour extended for Routes 1, 3, 4, 5, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 52, 60 headed to DART Central Station will be detoured at 7th Street for utility work.

From: 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25.

Routes 1,3,4,5,10,11,14,15,16,17,52, & 60’s 1,3,4,10,15,17,52, & 60 Ing to DCS: 7th (S), Right (W) on Grand, Left (S) on 10th, Left (E) on Cherry to DCS. 5,11,14, & 60Uni to DCS: Routes 11 & 60 Uni. Locust (E), Right (S) on 10th. Routes 5, & 14 10th (S), Left (E) on Cherry to DCS. 16 to DCS: 9th (S), Right (W) on Grand, Left (S) on 10th, Left (E) on Cherry to DCS.

Buses arriving at DART Central Station may have minor delays. Some downtown stops will be closed.

The following stops will be closed while the detour is in effect:

Bus stop 3073 (7th Street & Walnut Street)
Bus stop 1931 (Locust Street & 8th Street)
Bus Stop 1930 (Locust Street & 7th Street)
Bus Stop 687 (9th & High St)
Bus Stop 4106 (7th St. & Grand Ave)

Routes heading south on 7th Street:

Right onto Grand Avenue
Left onto 10th Street
Left onto Cherry Street
Right to DART Central Station

Routes heading east on Locust:

Right onto 10th Street
Left onto Cherry Street
Right to DART Central Station
