All DART routes traveling through downtown Des Moines on Saturday, July 12 could experience delays due to the annual Orchard Place Moonlight Classic bike ride.
The Des Moines Police Department will be controlling intersections in downtown Des Moines and the East Village, as bicyclists ride through the area after 8:00 p.m.
Select bus stops along Locust and Grand will be closed beginning at 1 p.m. on July 12, and DART Routes 1 and 4 will be on detour for much of the day. Buses will use MLK Parkway instead of traveling along Grand Avenue in downtown Des Moines and the East Village.
