DART will undergo a minor service change on Sunday, February 19 impacting Local Route 15 – 6th Avenue. This route operates between DART Central Station (DCS) and Park Fair Mall, including stops at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center and Harding Middle School, also traveling nearby Iowa Events Center and North High School. As part of the February service change, additional inbound trips will be added, allowing for more opportunities for riders to travel towards Downtown Des Moines in the evenings.
New trips added to the route
The additional trips along Route 15 include one new weekday trip and two new Saturday trips — each taking place in the evening and ending at DCS:
- On weekdays, a new trip will leave Park Fair Mall at 6:37 p.m., arriving at DCS at 6:49 p.m.
- On Saturdays, a new trip will leave Park Fair Mall at 9:37 p.m., arriving at DCS at 9:50 p.m.
- Additionally on Saturdays, another new trip will leave Park Fair Mall at 10:07 p.m., arriving at DCS at 10:20 p.m.

Riders can view the new schedules here. Paper schedules will be available at DCS and on buses a few days prior to the scheduled change.
