DART On Demand service is provided in Ankeny, Des Moines and West Des Moines. DART On Demand is a Microtransit service that allows riders to reserve real-time (on demand) trips that must take place within a designated travel zone. This service costs $1.75 per ride for full fare trips, and $0.75 per ride for those who qualify for Half Fare or Ride to Thrive. 

Service Description
Ankeny Travel zone includes several destinations in the city of Ankeny including DMACC’s Ankeny campus, locations along Ankeny Boulevard and Delaware Avenue, transfer points for Express Route 98 and Local Route 4, Easter Seals Iowa and the Iowa DOT offices off of Corporate Woods Drive. 
River Bend Travel zone includes transfer points for Local Routes 3, 5, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 60 serving portions of the north Des Moines neighborhoods of River Bend, Oakridge, King Irving, Mondamin Presidential and Chautauqua Park. This service funded through partners The Principal® Financial Group Foundation, Mid-Iowa Health Foundation, The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines and the Iowa Department of Transportation.
Jordan Creek Travel zone to provide first/last mile solutions to riders in West Des Moines, connecting them with transit stops and destinations located near Jordan Creek Town Center and Grand Avenue including the DMACC West Campus and the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex. Transfer options for Local Routes 52 and 72.
