As a tax-supported government agency, DART is subject to Iowa’s public-record laws as outlined in Chapter 22 of Iowa Code.
Those requests are best made in writing and submitted to Gunnar Olson, Public Information Officer. They can be e-mailed to golson@ridedart.com or mailed to 1100 DART Way, Des Moines, IA 50309.
Staff aims to be transparent in how they conduct the agency’s business, in keeping with President Barack Obama’s directive to create an unprecedented level of openness in government. DART staff will strive to respond to public-records requests in a timely fashion.
