Fare collection and front door boarding

DART is implementing new safety measures which will allow us to have riders use the front doors to get on the bus, and pay fares using the farebox. These changes will go into effect on Wednesday, July 1 and you can learn more here.

Riders should continue to do the following:

  • Wear a mask on the bus and at DART Central Station
  • Remain six feet apart from others to the extent possible
  • Use hand sanitizer before and after you board the bus
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Stay home if you feel sick and do not ride DART

DART is committed to safety and continues to:

  • Clean and sanitize vehicles and facilities daily
  • Run extra buses on busier routes to accommodate social distancing
