Help us showcase the many benefits of public transit on April 25 as we celebrate National Get on Board Day with transit agencies, riders and supporters from across the country.

Show your support for transit on April 25

DART is offering free rides on Local, Express, Flex and On Call services on Thursday, April 25. In exchange, we ask riders and other local transit advocates to share messages of support with DART. You can get involved in many ways, including:

• Following, sharing and commenting on DART’s National Get on Board Day posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
• Create your own post showing why you support transit or why you ride DART. Use the hashtags #GetonBoard and #OnBoardwithDART.
• Share your message of support with DART employees. Through April 25, DART staff will be riding several routes and attending events across the community with handheld white boards. Take your photo with the board featuring why you support transit and then share the photo on your own social channels on April 25…don’t forget to tag @rideDART!
• Visit APTA's webpage to share support for transit and sign the national petition.

National Get on Board Day is not only a day to show your support for transit, but it is also a chance for DART to say thank you to our riders and to encourage central Iowans to try riding DART.
