DART is currently evaluating service on Local Routes 1, 4 and 10 to see if they need to be changed to better serve our riders. Because of this, DART is currently collecting surveys from our riders to decide if changes are necessary.
Possible changes to routes 1, 4 and 10
DART is evaluating whether or not route 10 should be realigned to better serve the following destinations:
- Lutheran Hospital
- Des Moines East High School
- Hiatt Middle School
- Broadlawns Medical Center East University Clinic
- Businesses and housing in Pleasant Hill located along NE 12th Avenue, behind the Fareway
In addition to these route changes, DART is considering adjusting times on Local Routes 1, 4 and 10 to provide more midday frequency on East Grand Avenue.
It’s very important that we hear from our riders on whether or not these changes would be helpful to them. You can provide direct feedback now, by completing our online survey.
