DART will continue to drop off and pick up all passengers at Bus Stop #2747 – Valley West Mall, on mall property near the food court entrance, through June 4, 2016.
Beginning June 5, DART passengers will instead be picked up at a new stop on 31st Street. Valley West Mall will construct sidewalk access from the stop to the J.C. Penney’s Entrance on mall property, and DART will construct a shelter for passengers at the stop.
Valley West Mall and DART are working together on this transition to help it go as smooth as possible.
A map of the new stop and schedules for the move on June 5 will be shared with riders as soon as they are available. Riders are also encouraged to look for updates at ridedart.com.
Schedule times for Local Routes 3 and 52 and Flex Routes 72 and 74 will remain the same until the service change on June 5. Please be aware that data on some technologies, including GoogleMaps, may be wrong after May 1 for several days. Anyone with questions about their route schedules or the new stop is encouraged to call DART Customer Service at 515-283-8100 or email dart@ridedart.com.
Paratransit and On Call buses will operate at the mall with no changes moving forward. DART Park & Ride customers will also continue to be allowed to park on Valley West Mall property. Parking will be made available adjacent the new stop on 31st Street after the bus stop moves on June 5.
